    The present work has the objective of presenting information on Environmental Management System based on ISO 14000 and its social impacts, it is notable that socio-environmental responsibility is increasingly influencing the economic performance of any company today. Thus, the achievement of a correct and sustainable environmental management, more than being a condition for maintaining organizations in the market, becomes an important competitive differential for it.
