    It is in childhood, a period of intense neurological development and constant learning, where the first seeds that will later germinate as personality traits in the individual are planted. Over the years humanity has, at least in theory, been trying to improve more and more the quality of “being a child”, so that in the future they can enjoy a full adult life.

    The present work sought to provoke reflections with a psychological bias on the lives of the elderly, especially thinking about institutionalized elderly people and how they can have the right to independence, emotional care and social life guaranteed.
