    Due to the serious environmental problems currently occurring in the world, companies have come under heavy pressure from governments and society to invest in less impactful production mechanisms. The various discussions around the issue have led to the creation of rules governing environmental management in the business environment. One of the most widespread standards today is ISO 14001, which guides the process of implementing an Environmental Management System (EMS). Provided that the requirements of the standard are met, the organization may apply for certification. Several experiences have shown the advantages of obtaining an ISO 14001 certification.
