    Substance use before equestrian competitions has been more explicit, and associations are looking for a way to curb abuse and illegality. The misuse of drugs is prohibited in order to mask defects or emphasize quality. The anti-doping test, mainly of urine, collected before and / or after the competition, is taken in two samples, one for the test and the other for the counter test. With this control, associations are able to apply fair penalties for each particular case, according to the pre-established regulation.
