    The purpose of this project is to show the importance of a special education school in the life and inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities, proposing an adequate and accessible space for those who need special attention to develop, providing independence and quality of life. Special education is an extremely important branch of education aimed at people with educational learning needs, arising from intellectual, sensory or multiple disabilities.

    The idea of mental health that emerges as a concept to define and evaluate both the physical and mental state of an individual and what determines the quality of life and mental health are individual, social and structural factors, these factors can be associated with the stress. Understanding the vulnerability and harm caused by stressful events, there is a need to carry out interventions in children for the prevention and promotion of mental health and the purpose of the study was to formulate psychoeducational interventions with the aim of strengthening children's self-knowledge, together with , leveraging the reduction of stress among the target audience. The participants were based on the children who attend the oratory, in which the age of the children ranged between 6 and 14 years old, of both sexes and to carry out the activity, the people who attend the place were observed and an intervention was prepared to mental health prevention and promotion. It is considered that the objectives were achieved, since it was possible to achieve all of them even with some difficulties, thus bringing an improvement in the children's self-knowledge in identifying their emotions, their likes and fears, in addition to identifying trusted people, points to improve themselves and the world.

    O transtorno do espectro autista e a relação entre família e cuidadores: uma análise na Associação de Pais e Alunos de São João da Boa Vista

    This project aimed to think about and observe the relationships between the educational (traditional or complementary) and family environments of children with autism spectrum disorder. The aim here is to raise the importance of living together with family and other caregivers for the exchange of information and experiences that help in the development of individuals. In addition, the importance of supporting and welcoming atypical families and a scenario of greater contact between families and institutions, but also among fathers, mothers and grandparents who share this scenario of raising a special person was considered. This project was designed to reflect on ways to promote environments conducive to the development of the potential of the children and adolescents observed.
