    The connection between art, culture and censorship is intriguing. Art instigates culture, debates norms and values, and culture seeks to regulate and standardize the activities of signs. Censorship arises at a time when the existence of art is questioned, frightening freedom and its relevance. However, the 1988 Federal Constitution ensures artistic freedom, committing to be responsible for the expression of rational, artistic, scientific and communication activities.
