    Around the second half of the 20th century, due to the accelerated growth of the population on the planet's surface and the expansion of productive processes, especially industrial ones, it became evident that natural resources are limited, and that their depletion threatens the quality of life and well-being of present and future generations. Therefore, environmental legislation requires organizations to adopt an efficient posture in relation to their industrial processes and pollutant emissions in my environment, as many consumers, mainly from developed countries, are concerned with choosing products that are less aggressive to nature, present in accounting, ways to demonstrate the environmental control that is done through reports that make it possible to highlight ways to reduce environmental liabilities and increase environmental assets within a company
