    The national and international economic scenarios are updated, new technologies appear, communication systems evolve, economic communities and economic blocks are installed, and companies, within these environments, adjusting for survival. In Brazil, especially in the last decade, companies have gone through mergers, acquisitions, incorporations, privatizations, with a large presence of foreign capital, causing significant changes in business management, forced by economic facts. Globalization and competitiveness have started to demand new attitudes from companies regarding the productivity and quality of their products and services.
