    With this booklet we hope to contribute to an aging process in development in the biological, psychological and social areas, through just clarifying its potentialities and encouraging in the area of psychomotricity, exercising different aspects of this elderly person, thus bringing essential benefits for the fulfillment of yet another life stage. Cognitive stimulation, in turn, seeks to preserve and improve the general performance of cognitive and social functioning. This booklet consists of challenging exercises that end up stimulating reasoning, attention, concentration, among other cognitive functions that will be stimulated, which will lead to an improvement in learning. This booklet can be printed to carry out the activities.

    “We are not born ready: the potentialities of aging Being” is the proposal of the Integrated Project for module 3 of Psychology at Unifeob. This project was based on research and re-reading of scientific articles related to the subject, with the aim of bringing knowledge about the subject and benefits to readers and seniors who may come to make use of our article. It reports the look of the elderly and society at finitude, also encourages activities that help with quality of life and ways to complete this stage in a healthier, more conscious and peaceful way.

    Studies indicate that the cognitive, emotional and behavioral characteristics of a human being considered dysfunctional may have started in childhood. Therefore, it is a priority to know which experiences contribute to the risk in this development and which have a favorable impact on mental health.
