    Chondroitins are glycosaminoglycans naturally present in the composition of the articular cartilage and cornea. In degenerative diseases in Veterinary Medicine, such as: osteoarthritis, collapse of the trachea, corneal ulcer, among others, chondroitins are used in the treatment in an attempt to restore the cartilaginous matrix, obtaining positive results in several cases.
