(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2023-10-20) ALMEIDA, Bruno Aparecido de; ALMEIDA, Érica Aparecida de; FRANCO, Marcelo Marcos; MARCON, Robson Sordile; OLMEDO, Mateus Galante; COLLI, Bruna Brogio; BLUMMER, Silvia
The present study aimed to analyze, using simplified models of germination tests and emergence, the implications of the sowing depth used by the rural producer, correlating with information on germination and growth of corn (Zea mays L.) seedlings. The pushing bibliography highlighted the already known factors influencing the development of culture. The experiment was carried out individually and on a larger scale, according to instructions contained in the Data Analysis Rules Seeds (BRAZIL, 2009). The reports lead us to some important correlations regarding temperature, humidity, degree of seed maturity and planting depth. In the end, it is concluded that it is relevant to influence of planting depth on seedling performance and that it is extremely important to knowledge of the mechanism of action of plant hormones and the physiology of the crop to achieve levels satisfactory levels of productivity.
