With this, we seek to help in the formation of a more prepared and qualified professional to face a realistic scenario, pointing out what awaits them when working in this context. Taking into account the importance of this area and the role of the psychologist within it, the booklet also seeks to encourage reflections on the role of the psychologist as an agent of social transformation and his relationship with the community.

For this, a survey was carried out with students using the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale for Adults (DASS-21 – short form): it refers to an instrument developed by Lovibond and Lovibond (1995) that had the purpose of measuring and differentiate symptoms of anxiety, depression and stress in adults. Thus, it was expected to contribute to improving life in the student context, to focus on possible interventions that can be made taking into account the mental health aspects of university students.
