    Dípteros sinantrópicos presentes em granja de galinhas poedeiras em São João da Boa Vista

    A survey was carried out to determine the relationship between housefly and other synanthropic dipterans at the Granja de Aves Piedeiras Crisdan in the municipality of São João da Boa Vista, SP, weekly between January and February 2001, using the trap collection method for flies (JUG-TRAP). The Diptera family found were identified as: Drosophilidae, Muscidae and Calliphoridae. Among them, Drosophilidae 95.08%, Muscidae 4.40%, Calliphoridae 0.51%, totaling 100% of the synanthropic dipter family, which predominated in the four collections.

    Espécies de coleópteros histerídeos associados em esterco de granja de galinhas poedeiras de São João da Boa Vista - SP

    A survey of hysterid species was made at Crisdan farm, São João da Boa Vista - SP, weekly between January and February 2001, using two collection methods, soil traps and Berlese funnel. The hysterid species found were identified as: Carcinops troglodytes, Hololepta quadridentata and Eupilotus modestus. Among them, E. modestus and Carcinops troglodytes accounted for 98.1% of hysteria, and predominated in the four collections. The index of association between the two species was one (100% association).

    Estabelecimento de volume globular e proteína total em roedores selvagens do Sudeste brasileiro

    This work aimed to determine the globular volume (VG) and the total protein concentration (PT) in wild rodents from southeastern Brazil. The study was carried out in the mountains of Bocaina, Fartura and Itatiaia. 92 animals of different ages, belonging to six species, were captured. For the VG, the measurements were 48.54% and for the PT it was 6.9 gl / dl.
